Inspired
by classic short stories like O. Henry’s “Gift of the Magi” and
Shirley Jackson’s “The Lottery,” I wanted to come up with my
own contemporary parable about love and sacrifice, one that would
resonate for LGBT readership. As a result, I wrote “Saving Face.” You can get it now from JMS Books website. The following paragraph is a brief description of this winter solstice story.

Gaylaxicon 2012 in Minneapolis

As a guest panelist at this year's well-run Gaylaxicon, I appeared on three panels: Adult Fiction, Sexual Alternatives in Dark Fantasy (my own panel concept), and Ways to Improve your Writing. Not only was this convention informative, but it was also lots of fun.
